Role Purpose:

Carry out specific seasonal vineyard tasks safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, including:

​

• Winter pruning

• Vine removal and planting

• Bud rubbing

• Shoot thinning

• Wire lifting

• Tucking and clipping

• Fruit thinning

• Leaf plucking

• Weed control (hand weeding)

• Irrigation installation, maintenance and removal

• Net application and removal

• Harvest preparation and harvest activities

• General vineyard maintenance

 

​​Qualifications and Experience required:

​​​​

• Viticulture or Horticulture experience (advantageous)

• Fit, healthy and able to work outdoors.

• Legal right to work in New Zealand

• Able to communicate with and work respectfully with people of all cultures.
